This 2-day residential workshop will show you that food can feed the body on many different levels and that by nourishing the whole self a person can achieve true wellbeing.
This course combines practical cookery demonstration, relaxation, meditation and nutritional theory.
You will:
- Learn that food can help connect a person to nature, to the environment and to ourselves
- Gain an understanding that nutritional needs are individual and dynamic
- Learn that it is important to listen to the body’s needs in order to find the most suitable way of eating.
- Discover practical ways to tune in to the body’s needs.
- Explore how foods affect the senses and emotions.
- Gain an understanding of the social aspect of food and how sharing food can bring us closer to those around us.
